You are required to be a Snapshot Emagazine Subscriber to win. Subscription is FREE.
ENTRY: Contest begins 11/03/09 and ends 12/31/09. Entries must be submitted by 12/31/09. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older and be current residents of the United States .
TO ENTER: 1. Submit your entry via registration form. 2. Email a photo. 3. Tell us in your own words why you need a “STYLE” makeover by Karen Herrema, Personal Stylist. May include, but not limited to, a description of your busy lifestyle, your daily routine. Why do you need a new look? (Describe your current look, changes you would like to make, how would people describe you…) 4. Entry Details: One entry allowed per person, per household. 5. You must also be willing to travel to the Portland Oregon Metro Area (travel accommodations are not provided).

Photos become the property of Strubel Studios/Snapshot Emagazine and Karen Herrema, entering this contest gives Strubel Studios/Snapshot Emagazine and Karen Herrema permission to use your image/likeness in promotions and marketing.
WINNER SELECTION Judging: One (1) Grand Prize winner will be selected by “Style by Karen”. The decision made will be final, binding and conclusive on all matters related to the contest. Judging criteria will be uniqueness (30%), creativity (30%) theme appropriate (40%).
PRIZES: GRAND PRIZE: One (1) winner will receive 6 hours of Personal Styling Services which will include 3 steps: Profile, Organize, Shop ($350 value) Purchases/Shopping Costs are the responsibility of the winner. Plus, winner will receive a photo shoot with Snapshot’s Official photographer, Ilona LaRue of Studio Lumiére. Plus one(1) 5×7 print. If winner (who must be 18 years of age or older) cannot travel to the Portland, Oregon Metro, Grand Prize will be forfeited and alternate winner will be selected based on judging scores from among valid entries. All travel, meals, and gratuities are the responsibility of the winner.
RUNNER-UP: One(1) runner-up will receive a 3 hr package ($150 Value) Winners will be notified by phone and/or email no later than 1/11/2010. All selected winners and their entries will be subject to verification and investigation before being announced as qualified winners. Prizes may not be redeemed for cash or be transferred or exchanged. Employees and their families of Snapshot Emagazine, Style by Karen and their respective subsidiaries and affiliates (“Sponsors”) are not eligible to participate. Entry and acceptance of prizes constitute permission to use winner’s name, photograph or likeness and entry for promotional purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. Winner must sign an affidavit of eligibility/release and return it within 14 days of receipt or an alternate winner will be selected. By participation, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and agrees to release and hold harmless Sponsors from any liability arising out of participation in this promotion and/or the acceptance and use of the prizes. In the event any dispute arises regarding the contest, each participant agrees that such dispute should be resolved by applying the law of Washington.
